Stress. For as long as I can remember, it’s been a part of my life. It seems like the older I get, the world spins faster, days grow shorter, and there is more to be done.

I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and went to school at Ashland University (Amish country, Ohio—honestly there was a horse-and-buggy hookup at the local Walmart) where I ran cross country and track all four years.

Boring Workouts
By Wesley in Member Care
I am not really big on going to the gym, but I do enjoy being active. I find that I tend to bore easily with workouts and gym regimens…translation being that I may drag myself to a gym for a week or two tops, but I soon burn out of the routine and do not return for at least a month or more.

Jump, Shaking & Grooving In A New Life
By Jane in Sales
Most recently, I lived in Chicago. Now back in Jacksonville, Fla., and newly single, I wanted a house, a yard and a big black dog. I ended up buying a beautiful view, accompanied by an old pink house, and a cat the seller left behind. Now, I ride my bike and walk many miles in my neighborhood. I am also a newbie yogi. I have a huge bias toward good health. And that’s enough about me.

Prevention can come at all stages of life.
For instance, there is my neighbor, Judy. As the crow flies, Judy and her husband Jack are my closest full-time neighbors.
I live in the woods on a small spring-fed river in north Florida and recently some of my neighbors – including Jack and Judy -- got together to enjoy the weather, some chili and a full-moon canoe ride down the river.
It was especially good to see Judy. More than 9 months ago, Judy found out she had cancer in some prime locations. Since then her body has been poisoned on a semi-monthly basis.
